Michelle's Story

Life I was married in November of 2003 to Kevin Mattingly. We dated all through college and graduate school. We bought a house in Gurnee in September of 2004 and have been quickly making it our home. Kevin and I are adding a new addition to our family, a new chocolate labrador puppy named Reese. She should be coming home in late April. School High school seems so long ago. I can't believe how much I have changed since then. I would have to say my favorite teacher was Mr. Rhodes. I never thought in a million years I would like physics, and to think I actually went into a field where I use the physics of sound every day. College I went to Northern Illinois University for my undergraduate degree...Expand for more
where I majored in Speech Pathology and Audiology. I also was in a sorority where my quirky nature really came out. I became a regular at the bar scene as well as afterhours and truly did enjoy college. Then afer 4 years of fun I decedied to actually do some academic work, so I went to Illinois State University for my graduate degree. I graduated in 2000 with a masters degree in Audiology. (But don't get me wrong I still had fun) Workplace I have been working as an audiologist since graduate school. I started atSertoma Speech and Hearing Center in Palos Hills where I worked for 3 and a half years. I then moved to the manufacture side working for Siemens Hearing Instruments as a Staff Audiologist.
