Michelle's Story

Time for an update... If you have tried to listen to my music show, Exit 34, you ran into some problems. The economy forced the owners to close down the game house, so I sit with no show. :-( On a brighter note, a group of teachers have come together and created a faculty choir. For the Halloween pep assembly, we performed MJ's "Thriller"! That was thrilling...now to find a dance class! Keep on loving the loved ones---and telling them how much you treasure the opportunity to share life. Peace and God speed.... Michelle . Life continues.... I continue to DJ every THursday night from 8 - 9 pm EST on Exit 34, my show on the Internet KMRL AT mojoradioliveDOTcom Check the Schedule for YOUR kind of music. This past year has been a blur. Hold the children tight. Tell those you love that you do in fact love them. Life & Death: Please! Make sure your children have training not only in swimming but especially in how to respond to an emergency in water. June 11, 2008 Sebastien James Joseph drowned while on vacation in Gunlock resevoir, Gunlock, Utah. Sebastien turned 20 years of age on May 26. Sebastien and two female friends swam out to the buoy and on the return trip to the shore, Sebastien complained that he could not breathe. The girls, slight in build, tried to assist, but were unable to hold Sebastien up--he is a big boy/young man. The volunteer Search and Rescue team team were called out. We are grateful for their efforts that allowed us to bring our boy home. Services were held in the church where Sebastien accepted Christ as his pers...Expand for more
onal saviour. I understand the physical reasons that led to Sebastiens death. I understand--as much as a human can--the spiritual reason(s) for Sebastien leaving this plane of existence. Does this knowledge make all of this less difficult? Depends, on the day, hour, or minute. I was fond of telling folks I had been blessed with a salt & pepper team--a girl and a boy. I suppose I still have the team even though one exists in the spiritual plane while the other is still with me on the earthly plane. I love you, Sebastien. I love you, Sarah. Life: written about two months ago The children--Sarah, 22--and--Sebastien, 19 are living their own lives. Yes, I am suffering from the empty nest syndrome. I miss their humor and presense. Hence, a move to Southern Arizona places me an hour from the both of them. Yes, I traded the cool pines and the mountains for the Sonoran Desert. I continue to work as an English instructor. Am working on my masters. Started a master's in Education Leadership--the classes are easy, but about as exciting as a box of rocks! I am investigating a change in studies....I have the option of pursuing "practical" studies such as a masters in Reading. Or I can pursue linguistics...far flung and high ideals--that's the ticket! :-) Truffles is the new addition to the household. I adopted her following a hoarding raid on a home in a nearby town. 752 Chihuahuas were kept in a double-wide trailer. I DJ my own radio show via the Internet---fun! I hope you have as much fun with your life as I have with mine! God speed!
