Michelle's Story
Life
I live in Kentucky with my husband John and our two kids. We had our son, Zachary, the old fashioned way and adopted our daughter, Cristina, from Romania when she was five years old. They are both twelve. We have five horses, two dogs and some assorted cats on our 55 acre farm. We are truly blessed in many ways. I am a survivor of stage 3 breast cancer. I was 35 when I was diagnosed and I went through almost ten months of chemo, surgeries, more chem...Expand for more
o and radiation. I felt God's strength and peace throughout and never worried. I am very grateful to Jesus for my healing. We even got to be guests of the Oprah Show. (I found my lump in my armpit after watching her show.) We also have a home in the mountains of western North Carolina and enjoy spending time there. I would love to hear from any other classmates. And for all you girls, please remember to include your armpits with your monthly self exam!!
