Hi all,
My move to Philly was only 6 months, my daughter in California was expecting her first child and wanted me back in Paradise California to help her, babysit, advice, etc.
2018 has been a rough year. My mother passed away September 3rd, 2017 the same day my son got married. I them started having health issues, needed blood transfusions, test to find out why I was losing so much blood. Finally received answers Aug 2018, had major surgery to fix the problem. age November 8th at 8:30 in the morning to evacuate NOW. Courtney and I grab a few clothes for us, and a lot of clothes and toys for her 5 year old. Grab (found) 3 of our 4 pets and took off within 15 minutes. The fire chased us from Paradise to Chico. But we made it.
We lost everything we owned in Paradise, but we were alive. Since we had talked about moving out of California, this was our chance. Everything we owned was in our car. So we are now residents of Helena Montana and starting a new adventure.
