Michelle's Story
Life
Still living in California. Officially medically retired from the United States Navy. Working full-time and enjoying it. Just visited Michigan in July and got to see my sister get married. Congratulations again to the both of them.
School
Well lets see, where do I start....we'll start from Thomas Jefferson (K), Lincoln Elementary (1-4) until it closed, Hampton Elementary (5), on to Handy Intermediate (6-8) and then to Central (9-12). Then on to Delta College (AS) and summer internship at Michigan Tech.
College
Wow, not sure what to type. First, having all my classes with Ryan, yeah, that was interesting. :) But we had our fun, and that's all that matters....Expand for more
Other than that, wish I would have finished sooner, but oh well, whats 3 yrs? :)
Workplace
From Dow Chemical, to General Motors, then a few off the wall jobs. Now active duty in the United States Navy. Just put on E-5, and barely been in two full years. Doing good for myself, I think! Now working at San Diego Union Tribune in the payroll department, and definitely loving it!
Military
Well....no one would have guessed I would join the military, that's for sure. But, I did! I experienced many ups and downs, and have had a few surgeries, and now officially retired due to Multiple Sclerosis. I am working full time, enjoying it as well as enjoying the marriage life!
