Michelle's Story
Life
Well after H.S. I moved to Montana for a year or so. I moved back to Vermilion and started working at Vermilion P.D. as a dispatcher for 3 yrs and then decided to become a police officer. I was Vermilion's first female police officer. I got married in 1994 to a GREAT guy Matt,he was an "Air Force Brat," he graduated in the Philippines. We have a son, Matthew who is 10 yrs old and the greatest. We have been trying to have more kids... no luck yet. We lived in Vermilion for 4 1/2 yrs and then relocated to Iowa for my husband's job in July of '98. Never pictured ...Expand for more
myself in Iowa, but I really LOVE it here. Now I am an Area Rep for Youth For Understanding (YFU). It's an organization for exchange students to come to America and for Americans to go overseas for exchange... We have hosted 4 exchange students (3 German girls and 1 Japanese boy) so far and love opening our home to the kids and learning about their culture and countries and sharing ours with them.
