Michelle's Story
Life
On December 11, 2002, after being in college off and on forever, I finally graduated from the University of Alabama in Huntsville with a BSBA in Accounting. And I thought I would graduate in 4 years, hah! The following August 23, 2003, I got married for the first time to a wonderful man. I couldn't have picked anyone more perfect for me.
On February 14, 2004 we moved to Melbourne, Florida for a job offer that my husband couldn't pass up. I found out that I was pregnant with my first child two weeks before we were scheduled to move. In my mind the timing couldn't have been worse. I didn't want to move away from my family at a time I needed them most. a beautiful baby boy. He is definitely a mama's boy. He has been attached to my hip for about 2 1/2 years now. However, he does think that his daddy is the best playmate in the whole world. At the present time, I am a stay at home mom and due to have my second child April 5, 2007. It's supposed to be a girl this time. I think we're going to stop with two, since we got a late start in life. I love being at home with my little boy so that I can watch him grow up. I know that having two young children will be a real challenge, but I'm sure it will be fun and challenging all at the same time.
In about five years, I plan to go back to work full time. I'll probably work part-time between now and then. Maybe, one of these days I'll actually get to put that degree that I worked so hard for to good use.
