Michelle Myers Glower MSN, RN, NEA-BC, CNEcl, 2022 update. Chicago born & raised. I am a former ER nurse now teaching nursing. My husband is a retired emergency medicine physician. I recieved my BSN from Loyola University at Chicago and my MSN at St. Xaviers, Chicago. Married since 1999. I, (1960) & 5th grade at St. Stans, Jackson Mi. (1963). I have one son Dr. Shawn Anthony Robinson and Daughter-in law, Dr. Inshirah Robinson RN, DNP, CRNA. 2 grandsons that are the love of my life. I went to Waller HS which was nightmare, no education, and survival was the goal. I made friends of color that I will never forget. I was the minority. They were my family. The school system was fractured with gangs and illicit teacher student relationships that went unnoticed.
