Michelle's Story

School Spent the last 2 yrs at UNBC in Prince George, working on my BSc in Fish and Wildlife. Did 2 yrs in Prince Rupert at the NWCC taking Coastal Integrated Resource Management. Workplace Busy as always hiking in remote areas of BC, looking for fish and doing stream classification. Spent a couple of months doing some habitat work with DFO in Smithers, BC. ta love packing a 30lb electroshocker around the bush 10k a day. That will make you reconsider your career path every morning as you strap yourself in. I did enjoy my stint as a creel supervisor, lots of fishing perks with that job. I have met a lot of great people in my travels in the outdoors. I can't ever imagine working behind a desk somewhere, with no windows.
