It was receiving a letter from an old friend that prompted me to write a bit about my life.
After graduating from highschool I went on to Nursing School in Chatham ON and graduated from St. Jos. in 1967. Our class recently travelled to NYC to celebrate the 40th (gulp!) anniversary of our graduation.
I married Bert Rondeau in Aug. '67 and we moved to Kalamazoo MI where he went to school and I worked as a nurse. Our first son was born in Kalamazoozoozoo. After Bert graduated we moved to Plattsburgh NY where Bert taught and I continued to work. Our second son was born in NY. We returned to Sarnia in 1973 and our third son was born in Sarnia. Bert and I separated in the early 80's and were divorced a few years later. I remarried in 2002 and moved to the USA. holiday and honeymoon. Larry died two weeks after we returned home to the Port Huron area. I returned to Sarnia to live once again. I still work at the local hospital. I have three grandchilren - one girl and two boys and I thoroughly enjoy being a grandmother and I have always enjoyed being a nurse and have been active in my profession.
For those of you who knew (know) my sisters, Anita has two daughters, is widowed and is working in Sarnia. Janine is working in Ottawa, has a son and a daughter and is divorced. Our father died in 1977 and Mom is still alive and well and as sharp as a tack. She dislocated her shoulder when she fell off of her skateboard about two years ago ;) and she had a shoulder replacement yesterday and is doing well. I invite greetings from anyone who would like to say hello and I will respond to the best of my ability. I'm busy just like everone else so...it just might take a little while.
