Michelle's Story
Life
I am currently living in Lawrence, Kansas with my husband Dennis (class of '78) and our 2 children Auston and Ali. After many different jobs I am finally doing what I should have done 20 years ago. I am teaching elementary school - 4th grade. This is my 9th year. I returned to school in 1996 to get my elementary teaching degree. We moved to Lawrence in Oct. of 1997 after student teaching in Kearney. I received my certification in Jan. 1998 and worked as a substitute teacher and ...Expand for more
paraprofessional for 1 1/2 years before finally getting this teaching position. I love it!!!! Dennis is Regional Medical Liason for Sanofi-Aventis. We are still die-hard Huskers. My son, Auston is a college freshman and my daughter, Ali is a high school senior. My daughter had a liver transplant when she was 7 1/2 months old and will be celebrating the 17th anniversary of her transplant in April 2009. She is doing extremely well. I would love to hear from anyone from the class of '77!!
