Life
Hey everyone! Glad you searched me out!
I am still married (16 years!)to the greatest guy in the world. My boys are 13 and 8 and both keep me very busy with their school work, voluneering at their schools and keeping up with all of their sports. I have become a true SOCCER MOM. That is what my boys play year round and we travel all around Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Lousiana, Mississippi and anyplace else our club is going. Our U-14 boys have an awesome team and Eathan is the keeper. He is great at his position. I worry everytime he plays but that is just the nature of being a keeper's mom. Jarred plays anywhere on the field he can have the ball the most. He is pretty quick so that is where he needs to be. He tried keeper like his big brother but he has to keep moving and doesn't like standing still too long.
We are currently living on the Emerald Coast of Florida and LOVE IT! Don't think I will want to move when the AF tells us it is time to go. The Southeast is beautiful and Florida (sin HURRICANES!) is great. I have a view of the ocean from the front window of my house and a REA...Expand for more
L beach is a 5 minute walk from my front door. Can't ask for more!
Mike's job has deployed him a lot more but he is home right now and the deputy commander of the security forces squadron here. He is moving onward and upward and it is great. He loves his job and I do like working in the squadron when I can to help the spouses and help put together events for the squadron.
We are the Youth Group leaders here and love seeing what the Lord is doing in these teens lives. It is great to be a part of the ministry and to help these young people find their walk with the Lord. And our church has just exploded in population. So we know that God is good and is working through us to get His word out there to the base community.
Career plans have taken a turn. I am in school again for Elementary/Special Education. I will graduate in May and hopefully work at the middle school here until the AF tells us it is time to move again. Love working with kids and I will always have a job no matter where we get sent.
