Michelle's Story
Life
I've been living in Albuquerque since September 2010 and absolutely love it here! I am so glad to be out of the south. This was a long time coming. I was in Savannah, GA, for about 6 1/2 years. I still work for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
I love going to NYC and would go every month if I could afford it. I have covered Manhattan (including all the little places like Chelsea, Chinatown, etc.), Brooklyn, and even went to the Bronx last time around to go see the zoo there (though that was a little freaky riding the subway over there even during the day). solutely love Brooklyn and finally got to walk across the Brooklyn Bridge in March 2010.
Oh, and my "then" photo was from 1977 - age 8 in North Bend (Easter weekend) - almost 30 yrs ago (UGH!). lol
I'm on Facebook - just do a search under my first and last name. I have a Twitter account, but I don't really use it (I don't see the point to Twitter).
Workplace
My work biography . . . well, I've been working for the Department of the Interior since 1992 and will probably stay with them until I retire. I can transfer anywhere I want to if I chose, so it's not bad. Right now I'm working for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
