Michelle's Story
I graduated from Ramstein in 1989 headed for Southern Illinois University in Interior Design. I ended up at Texas Tech University with a degree in Exercise Science graduating in 1993.
I went into the Air Force through the Officer Training School in 1995 and was stationed in Grand Forks AFB, ND as a Services Officer.
I met my husband, Mark, up in Grand Forks. We got married a year later!
We were then stationed in Omaha, NE at Offutt AFB, Mark's active duty Air Force. I stayed in until Nicole was born (my first daughter) in 1998 on Thanksgiving Day!
My son, Gregory, followed her in March 2001.
We were then transferred to Beale...Expand for more
AFB in northern California. We had a blast! Mark was flying Global Hawks and we were living on base enjoying all the great Air Force camaraderie!
We left Beale for a tour though the Army at Ft Leavenworth, KS for a year. My daughter and I had so much fun learning how to ride horses!
After Kansas, we continued the Eastward direction and landed at the Pentagon. We are now living in northern Virginia.
Our third child, Lauren, came into the world on her sister's birthday, November 26th in 2007.
We are now off to California again. We leave in less than 30 days to drive across country with our 3 little ones and a dog in tow! ;)
