Michelle's Story
Life
Life has been one big roller coaster ride! I was living in Germany for 5.5 years, but I left and got a divorce. I'm now living in North Carolina and loving it! Why am I here? LONG STORY...very long! But to make it short I followed a man here, and though we're just friends now, I don't regret ONE BIT moving here. I love it here!! It's absolutely gorgeous! I am only 1.5 hours away from Mayberry, y'all!! Okay, it's really called Mt. Airy, but it's among the beautiful mountains and I absolutely adore it! The beaches are great too...clean and cool. :) And the people are very friendly...southern hospitality at its finest!
I do miss my family and friends at home in Texas, but sometimes we all must make a life for ourselves and get out there and enjoy it! If ever any of my friends are out here in North Carolina, do not hesitate to contact me...my door is open. If I don't know you but we went to school together, let me know...always great to make new friends and show them this beautiful state! :) If you live here also and went to school with me and now just finding out, let me know...always good to make new friends here.

y life, and I wouldn't change them for the world!! I learned a great deal, especially out of the classroom, and I grew as a person.
It's funny how we look back and smile at the many memories we created for ourselves, some of them not so great but most of them the best! My father always told me that those friends I make in my adult life will be the friends I will have for life, those who will watch my children grow up. But since I moved, I don't get to watch their children grow up. Sigh...and I don't have children for them to watch either...God hasn't given me that opportunity yet.
Workplace
Worked in Germany for a couple of years and enjoyed it so much, and I especially miss the wonderful people I worked with. They made life there wonderful for me!
I now work for Elite Food Sales & Marketing, and though I enjoy the job, I don't care too much for the atmosphere, so I may be looking for something different. I haven't quite made up my mind yet, but I will be getting to work on what goals I wish to obtain. These last 10 years have taught me a great deal and have prepared me for so much more than what I am currently doing. We shall see what the future holds.
