Michelle's Story
Life
I'm an Elementary Librararian at Dubai American Academy in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. (Anyone ever think that I'd be a Librarian? I did!) I'm a single mother of two beautiful boys; Nicholas and Matthew. I've lived in Dubai for 10 years and don't know when or if I'll move back to the States!
College
Well, after high school, I worked for a couple of years before starting college. I went to BCC-Central starting in 1988, moved to FSU and got a BA in History and then received a Master's in Library and Information Science in 1994.

I am the Elementary Librarian at the Dubai American Academy in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In May 2008, I'll have been here 10 years! Before coming to the UAE, I was Interim Director of the Library at Valencia Community College-Kissimmee, and a Public Librarian in LaFayette, GA.
Florida
Well, my mom moved back to WV, where I was born, to help take care of my grandmother. My sister, Kerry, lives in Salisbury, NC with her two kids and husband. My dad is still in FL (Davie), but I have no interest in ever going back there to live!
