I'm in a very serious situation right now. I got injured in Libya in Feb. 2014. Seen well over 15 specialist and finally found Dr. Reitman, the hip specialist. It's now Summer, 2015. Had the full hip replacement and far less pain but I'm still having problems as a result of surgery. One of my films played several weeks in Dallas at all the General Cinema Theaters and it is called CHINA RUN(. HBO AND BBC bought it after it's theatrical run. The movie I'm most famous far is one that I made in Vietnam between 1986 and 1990. The BBC created a series of what they said were the top films about the Vietnam war and besides Platoon, Full Metal Jacket, they included my film, THE CU CHI TUNNELS which I made totally in Vietnamese, not easy! NPR and others did stories about me making the film... NPR actually sent reporters to old Saigon to interview me. It's on Youtube with my name as Mickeyfilm. Here's some history: Spent 2011-2014 very often in Libya I priviously had made another film in Libya which I finished and it premiered at the Angelika Theater in Dallas and then played several weeks at the Inward Theater and then went to cable and also broadcast on several broadcasters across Europe and it's called INJECTION, again it's on Youtube. Rarely do I play the role on camera as an investigative journalist, but I did so in this one. It played at many theaters and was at the Angelica and Inwood in Dallas. INJECTION, which blamed Gaddafi for this HIV outbreak at a children's hospital in Libya, endured me with the early rebels in Libya.
