Mike's Story
Life
After a 3 year pit-stop in Michigan, I'm back in Chicago, working on my Ph.D. in U.S. history. Now you might assume I've become a Midwesterner (and truth be told, I am saying my Rs now), but nothing could be further from the truth. Chicago's a great town and has grown on me over the years but Brockton and New England will always be home. It also seems I'm destined to not be a high school teacher, but I like (most of the time) grad ...Expand for more
school and am looking forward to being a professor somewhere back east in a few more years. That's the short version -- but my head is stuffed full of memories and I'd like to hear from those I know and miss. Look me up if you're ever in Chicago and need a tour or a place to crash. I think it's ridiculous to have to pay to see a guestbook name or read a message someone sends me, so I'm easy enough to google if you want to find me.
