Mike's Story
Life
Effective June 1, 2006, I'm changing paths, beginning a career in IT with Goliath Solutions, based out of Chicago, IL. I will be Field Services Manager over Cleveland, Akron, Canton, and Youngstown, OH, as well as Pittsburgh, PA, and Buffalo, NY. The goal of Goliath is to provide empirically based performance data to retailers and CPG companies that help them maximize the sales and profitability of their promotional merchandising programs. This is done using RFID Technology with reports constantly being dowloaded from the technology directly into reports that can be viewed by the CPG's, Retailers, and Golithians alike.
Previously, I had been employed by Kraft Foods Worldwide for 3 years and had moved up through the ranks of the KFNA Sales Organization. My duties involved direct sales to retailers, securing displays, planning for future promotions and using AC Neilsen, IRI data to prove the success of promotions within the retail chain. reath of understanding of retail and consumer packaged goods (CPG's) organization. I will be able to implement this understanding and build upon it with the career at Goliath. Goliath will allow me to focus on providing more accurate (98%) data to CPG's and retailers, help them reduce costs and improve the bottom line dramatically for all companies involed.
I will continue to live in Loudonville, OH.
I hold a Bachelor of Education in Health, a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education, and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology all from Ashland University.
Workplace
In January 2003, I began my teaching career in Medina, OH as a Health Education Instructor-Part-time and worked there throughout the end of the 02-03 school year. During the 03-04 school year I taught at Mapleton H.S. and Mansfield Senior H.S. both half-time.
In 2003, I began my career with the Kraft Foods Worldwide organization and have moved up the ranks from entry-level sales to my current role.
