Mike's Story
Life
I am married since 1975 to a beautiful Elizabeth Seton grad named Tootie Gralish. We live in Pleasant Hills and have a son, Michael who graduated from Central Catholic and Gettysburg College. I am a RETIRED Technology Education Instructor from McKeesport Area High School where I taught Computer Aided Design and Engineering Technology (shop class).
I am a VietNam vet having served on the USS Ranger from June 1972 until December 1973. I was a fly 2 yellow shirt for most of the time I was onboard. this time in my life, I have a few friends I have lost touch with and would like to find.
Upon returning to the 'burgh I worked for US Steel twice then resumed going to school, The Waterfront Mall now stands where I used to work. Typical route, CCAC to learn all the things I didn't think I needed in high school, CalU for my bachelors in IA/ED. I kicked around in training for a few years then took a job teaching part time. When Michael was born I was 41 and just starting my teaching career. Now at 62 I had the opportunity to build two successful courses and watch the quality of student rise to the gifted level, I am very blessed.
