Mike's Story
Well, I suppose I should update this more than once every six years.
As you can see, still delivering fiery oratory, although here at a Memorial Day ceremony in San Luis Obispo, CA, 2009. I live out west now, more water. Single, divorced in '06.
Well, gosh. Lived out in LA after HS, wound up working as a police beat reporter for the Chicago Heights Star-Tribune newspapers. Then the North Side of Chicago, did some acting on the side. How I wound up advising large companies on cutting data center costs and counter-fighting contract extortion remains a mystery to me, as I was never trained in that, but there you have it. If you google me under Mike Egan and META Group, you'll get a number of press articles.
Went out to Silicon Valley, married 15 years, divorced, moved to a Central Coast area of California, by Pismo Beach, in 2006. Semi-retired and back to the water. Nice little area, quiet, like Dolton on the beach, complete with bowling alley, salt water taffy and some decent waves.
