Life
Favorite instructor at West Milwaukee High.... hands down, was E.J. Larsen. He opened my eyes and interested me in Economics. What a classy guy!
School
My BIGGEST crush was a girl from another school...Mary Ross, who attended St. Mary's Academy. She was, as I like to say, the complete package....attractive, smart, and with a good soul! We drifted apart and then the BEST thing in my life happened....I met my beautiful wife of 43 years!
College
College was literally a trip in the 1960s and I spent too much time partying,drugs, ladies....you know the routine. My wife convinced me that I had to settle down and do something meaningful. So I did!

y Grandmother died, I was sent back to live with my mother. Both she and my stepfather were raging alcoholics. Although my mother always said I was her favorite, she resented me because I would never acknowledge her as my mother! I called her Jean....and it rankled her up until the day she died!
With the help of my loving/caring wife, I have been able to straighten my family out. We are no longer dysfunctional.....so I have done my job! My two kids , my wife, and I all get along. Thank God for this blessing!
At 39, I also met my real father, Pat McGee! He wasn't the ogre my wife portrayed him as. I only had him for a couple of years before he died.....but I cherished every moment! And......he gave me a wonderful stepmother and three great half-sisters!
