Mike Jacobs:  

Life Born in Omaha, Ne on November 24, 1965. Grew up in the Benson area. I was fascinated by music at an early age which probably explains why I ended up in radio. In fact, I knew what I was going to be when I was six!. Graduating from Tech in 1984, I went on to study broadcast production at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. I have been employed by the Omaha Public School District since 1988 working as the Music Director, producer and host at KIOS FM 91.5. at the old Tech building! I currently host "Blues in the Afternoon" which airs on Mondays from 1:00-3:00PM. I also host jazz on Wednesdays and Fridays at the same time. I have also worked at KKCD 105.9 doing the overnight weekend shift playing classic rock for two years from 1993-1995. My on-air name was "Mike Taylor".
