Mike's Story
I retired from the US Postal Service in 2001, my wife and I sold our flower shop in 2005 so we have been retired for the last three years now. I have a lot of hobbies, I do a little writing, mostly stage plays which have all been comedies. I have written five so far. I would like to write the Great American Novel someday about the wondeful era I grew up in. But I doubt a book based on coming of age at Ninnekah OK would ever become a run away best seller. nd wood carving and dabble in the arts. I do a little home brewing and make wine and beer. I enjoy hearing from anyone I went to high school with and the kids I met while working at the Swimming pool at Shannon Springs the summers of 65 and 66. I write a weekly email I send out to school mates and other baby boomer friends. It's called, "The Ninnekah Debate and Philosophy Club," I send it out to those I have email addresses for.
