Mike's Story
Life
Well,first off,Hello to everyone that reads this,it's good of you to do so. My bio starts after highschool. In the '60's I married, started at MCJC and opened the Northend Breeze gas station. I soon realized I couldn't juggle all of that so college went by-by. After 4½ years I realized running a gas station wasn't my thing either so in '65 I moved to Cedar Rapids and that's where I still am. Everything I've done and accomplished since then would fill a book so here's some highlights: Five kids of my own...Expand for more
and three step-kids, divorced, became an actor and a model, ran my own talent agency, worked ten years at Iowa Manufacturing making road building equipment, fourteen years in sales and seventeen years in telecommunications (Telecom USA/MCI/Verizon) and retired 3/31/06, also did 5 years as a radio DJ. I have fifteen grandkids and three great-grandchildren. I also write poetry and have had several of my works published in various venues, including three poetry anthologies. Hey, it's been a 'GOOD RIDE' so far!
