Mike's Story
Life
I worked as a technician for Chicago theaters for about a year after I got my Bachelor's in Theater Design/Production from Illinois State University. Eventually, I sold out to make more cash by programming computers for a big corporation. I like to paint, play guitar/piano, write poetry, and have fun with some friends. I'm also pretty good with building computers, mostly for gaming.
All in all, things are great, and I'm happy with my job. I guess you can't really ask for more than that, except maybe for billions of dollars, but that's something I'm just going to have to keep working at.
If you'll excuse me, I have to get my eyes back on the prize. I hope you are well, and thanks for dropping by to see what I'm up to.
School
Stan Czaplak changed my life.
So did Mr. Bowman and creative writing class.
College

r Design and Production at Illinois State University, which ended up being tougher than I thought it would be. It basically amounted to all your usual college classes, plus ones that demanded a lot of creativity, and in addition to that - you had to work on performances that people paid money to see. This involved (at times) nearly 24 hour days.
Though stressful and hectic, it showed me how to multitask and prioritize, and I had a lot of fun somehow in there, too.
Workplace
Meh. Work is for money. I prefer to talk about more interesting things in life than work.
I will say, however, that I enjoy my work and am progressing nicely. I've been at a Fortune 500 corporation for over 5 years and the corporate thing is a-okay with me.
Military
No military service.
At least, that I can speak of.
I could tell you, but, well....you know.
