Mike's Story

Life I am married to Sheila. We met at Oregon State University. She is now retired after teaching 30 years, 20 years in Glide school district. We have 1 daughter, Stacey, who is also a teacher. Have worked for the U.S. Forest Service for 13 years. My life changed course in 1985, when I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Have retired from work, enjoy life, but ha...Expand for more
ve limits to what I can do. But don't we all? Military I was drafted right after I graduated from college. Spent 8 weeks basic training at Ft. Lewis, WA. Advanced training at U.S. Army Veterinary Medical School in Chicago, IL for 18 weeks. Then off to Ft Wolters, TX(40 miles W of Ft Worth) for the remainder of my service. My MOS was Food Inspector at the base.
