Mike's Story
Life
I was born in Pasadena, CA and lived in SoCal until moving to the Denver area in 1973. I graduated from Cherry Creek in 1976 and joined the Navy. I served a six-year enlistment as an Electronics Technician. During my enlistment I married Nora and had a daughter, Michelle. After the Navy I began a career with SPRINT in the San Francisco bay area. I worked as a technician and attended college. Nora and I soon had our second daughter, Rushelle. In 1989 we moved with Sprint to Sacramento where I continued college. I graduated in 1994 with a degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (BSEEE) from California State University, Sacramento. Michelle delivered our first grandchild, Zariah, in 2003 propelling Nora and I into grandparent status. In 2004 I was laid off after twenty-one years with Sprint. As of January 2005, I'm seeking employment as a software developer in the Sacramento area.

reer and physical attributes are spooky, and some distant acquaintances were unfortunately reminded of me when the perpetrator of that tragic event was identified.
School
I graduated from the Creek in '76. Since I started the Creek mid freshman year and graduated early, I was only at the Creek for three years and did not have a large social group. School within a School, however, was cool, and I did attach to those classmates - though none currently. Besides School within a School, I was never a part of any group other than auto mechanics - guess that made me a gear head. I did have a few friends in the marching band and counselor's offices. After graduation, I joined the Navy and never lived in CO again. I thought it was interesting that only a couple '76 graduates, out of a class near a thousand students, said that they were joining the military service. I knew that I was joining since the junior year and actually swore in prior to senior year.
College
