Workplace
Since high school I've always been involved with computers. I started out with a collection agency in the data processing dept. I then worked for a guy setting up desktop publishing systems. Then I worked selling, installing, and training user on government accounting software. Then it was back to a collection agency, but this time as a partner. lot of exposure with Microsoft. After 5 years I was offered a job in Minneapolis as a project manager for a rival software company. I took the job mostly to me closer to my daughter (and the money). This job only lasted a year, but a friend in England offered me a spot in his company over there. I just had to take it. I lived in England for over 3 years. When I came back, I stayed here in MN and worked from home for a while. Now I have a great job as a Sr. Systems Engineer with GMAC. Life is good.
