Mike's Story
Life
Well, it has been a year since I retired, and life is still good:^) Took a trip acroos the U.S. recreating a trip my mom and grandparents took in 1917 along the Lincoln Hwy, things had changed a bit. In 1917 it took them 3 months from Santa Rosa to New York, D.C., etc. and back, we did it in a month. They camped along much of the trip, we stayed in hotels. They cooked on an open fire, thank goodness for fast foods:^)

ogged, wish they would have payed "consultant" wages when I worked for them before.
Have 4 beautiful granddaughters ranging from 16 years to 18 months, they are close and my wife and I see them almost daily which is fine by us.
Workplace
I'm an auditor (of sorts), I perform audits on individuals who have purchasing authority making sure that all policies and procedures are being followed. Keeps me busy, but only for another 16 months and then I'll really be busy with retirement:^)
