Mike's Story
Well one story in my life is rather interesting. If you know a man by the name of Trace Adkins, don't mess with him. One night I was looking for drumming jobs in Nashville when I met up with the guy. This was before he had a contract and got popular. Anyhow, he's up singing on the stage right. Shaking his ass n stuff and acting like he's gods gift to women. It was so obvious that he was full of himself and for some reason, well I just didn't like him. I had been drinking rum and cokes and the bartender was mixing them pretty thick for tips. I don't mean big... this guy is like six six! And full of muscle! Well I didn't notice that because on stage he just looked like your normal size dude. Well he was sitting down when I approached him. I was in Johnny bad ass mode cause of the stiff drinks and I said to him, "You know, there is only one Elvis, and you ain't him." He sat his drink down on the bar and stood up. OH NO! It took him awhile to get ALL THE WAY UP if you get my drift. He looked me in the eye and said, "Are you tryin' to piss me off?" I politely patted him on the shoulder and said, "NO, my daddy didn't raise no dummies." I turned and left the building faster than Elvis.
