Mike's Story
I was born on August 26, 1962, in Linwood, California. When I was just 2 years old, my family packed up and moved to Mountain Home, Idaho. There, I went to North Elementary, then MH Jr High, and finally MH High School. In 1981, I left Mountain Home and headed to Boise to attend Boise State University, where I dove into Auto Mechanics and graduated the next year. de my way back to California. Then, about 7 years later, my teenage sweetheart, Sherry Clifton from Glens Ferry, Idaho, who I dated when I was 15, came to visit. We ended up spending another 5 wonderful years together in Palm Springs. Eventually, we moved to Oregon, where we've happily settled for the past 20 years. This December, we’ll celebrate 27 years together as boyfriend and girlfriend, and we’ve decided that marriage isn’t for us. My dad's family came over from Wales, while my mom's side has roots in Ireland.
