After having spent one griping year at Fanshaw college,(I think half the kids there had Down Syndrome) I attended Ryerson for...you guessed it, one year.
I worked the summer of 1986 at CKBB in Barrie and was picked by 1050 CHUM. I worked at CHUM from 86'-88' under the name Mike Richards, then joined the morning show at CKFM...Expand for more
(The Mix) and co-hosted the morning show with my buddy Gerry Forbes. From there, a stream of morning show jobs including The FAN 590, first with Bob McCowan then John Derringer, Y-95, CISS-FM, The Team, and now finally as the morning man at The Fan 960 in Calgary. No more co-hosting for me! I will have my own TV show starting in 2006.
