Mike's Story
7/8/08 - After high school I attended college at the University of Wisconsin River Falls. Unfortunately, partying got the best of me and I left after my junior year without a degree. Fortunately, I got a job working as a formulator for a printing ink manufacturer. I have spent my entire 16 year career in the printing ink/graphic arts industry. Presently, I sell chemicals to paint, ink, and coating manufacturers. I live 40 miles west of Chicago. Ironically, part of my territory is the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. I now visit the area every 4 to 6 weeks.
I was married for 11 years before finding my ex having "fun" with one of my best friends. Don't feel bad - everything happens for a reason. This happened for the best. I am now engaged to a woman that I love (see the picture above). Yes, she is too good, too young, and too beautiful for me. As they say in football - I outkicked my coverage.
I have two daughters that are my life. Kaitlyn will be 10 in August an...Expand for more
d Kylie is 7. They are my motivation, my inspiration, and my reason for living. They are both "Daddy's Little Girls". I hope they always will be. They both play soccer and love it. Kaitlyn is a tom boy and Kylie is my girly-girl, she loves to dress up.
I play indoor and outdoor soccer. I stopped playing when I moved to Burnsville to concentrate on football and I think I made a mistake. I played soccer on a club team in college and started playing again two years ago. At the risk of sounding arrogant, I have developed into one of the best goalies in our league. I think I missed my calling. I should have started playing again years ago.
Not much more going on in my life. Just enjoying my new job, playing soccer, and three amazing, beautiful girls in my life. Like many people in this world, my life has had a lot of downs. But, I have been fortunate enough to enjoy far more ups. I am grateful for the blessings I have in life and hope that they continue.
