Mike's Story
I thought I'd done this once. Anyway, people my age have had a lot of experiences...I've been married, divorced, remarried, three kids all grown, four grandsons, pets, live in a little village (Lewisburg OH), parents dead as are a few friends. I have a fairly good memory--I hate it when I forget a name, and am in reasonably good health. Some of my most intense memories involve my three years in the Army. I saw many sights including big parts of central South Vietnam. I am nostalgic for things that happened or were popular before I was born--I have no idea how that's possible, but one of the things I love is radio drama. I have been very skeptical about many things--religion, government, history, etc.--most of my life. I'm a retired...Expand for more
civil servant, and now a newspaper writer. For that last several years, I've become an ethnic food lover--I once went to India for three weeks and gained 15 pounds! I've gone from 155 lbs. in high school to 210 right now, and I've lost about a half-inch in height. Losing weight doesn't get easier with age. I smoked for 25 years, and quit cold turkey 20 years ago. I am not a technophile--I have a computer, but no cable or satellite service, remote controls confuse me, and I am unable to use a calculator. After all this I should add: life is good.
One thing about Classmates: people don't volunteer much information. I'd love to find out what happened to so many people I've known. If anyone wants to correspond with me, feel free.
