Mike's Story
Military
i entered the US Army in 1973 and served at Ft Ord, Ca. I worked down at our remote detachment at Hunter Liggett 2/3 of my time out there. I was assigned to the 155th Aviation Co(Attack Helicopter) with some of the most decorated pilots of the Vietnam War. these guys were just awesome!! My best friend in the unit was Spec.5 Charles Davis who was a highly decorated veteran of Vietnam. I worked in operations as Operations Sgt. t Americans ever. After I finished my enlistment I came back to my hometown and attended College for four years at Marquette University before joining the Sheriffs Department where I retired from. I also served in the active reserves for over seven years for a total of 15 years credited military service. My motto is "Army, Only the Best." A special salute to all of the fine young people who currently serve, remember all who came before love and respect you for your sacrifices for your country. HOORAA!!
