Miller's Story
Life
I am now a 3rd year ear nose and throat resident at the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY. Things are going well. Not married no kids, bought a house in the city near my folks when I moved back after being away for 11 years.
School
Edison was a lot of fun senior year. Hangingout with George, Flip Chris. Every Saturday the guys would hang out. I still keep in touch with George and I see him whenever we get to the same part of the country. I went to Catawba College, a small liberal arts college in North Carolina near Charlotte. earned my masters degree in micro and molecular biology and then went to med school and graduated in 2005.
College
College life was a lot of fun. I will refrain from telling all of the stories and will reserve those for my close frineds rather than the entire internet community. There were not too many all-nighters you just did what you had to in order to do well.
Workplace
A had a number of jobs during college including, making pizzas, working at Red Lobster, a gas station. Now I am pretty consumed with being a resident. Long hours, call can be tough. I enjoy it. Learning to do surgery and help those that need it is fun. It is definitely more enjoyable when you are not tired though.
