Life
I am now divorced and live in Western Pennsylvania. I have von Hippel-Lindau which is a rare cancer that affects the brain, eye, kidney, spine, pancreas ear, and central nervous system. I have had brain eye and kidney cancer because of this condition. I am also a BRCA cancer survivor. I am a co-founder of a non profit organization called vHL Connections. I go to a local BRCA cancer support group where I write the newsletter. I have an online BRCA cancer support group called BRCA Cancer Conquerors on yahoo. I am on the Boro Zoning Board. My fiance' passed away in September 2006 when he drowned in a boating accident before our plans to marry. I returned to college in the Fall of 2007 to get my BS degree in Special Education and have been on the dean's list. I am now a junior! Four down four to go! n Iota, and listed in Who's Who Among Professional Women. I am a certified life coach and I coach on coping with change. I have two beautiful daughters who are my life. My oldest is going to college for early childhood development and works for the Boys & Girls Club. My youngest is back living with me after things didn't work out for her in Philadelphia. I keep busy with volunteer work, school work, and my job as a bartender at a country club. This is the first time I have ever been on my own. I don't see me ever meeting or being with anyone. I'm still in love with my fiance'. I've dedicated my college education to him because he encouraged me and had faith in me. I am almost done my schooling and am back on the dean's list with a 3.56 GPA! I am also back to my maiden name Kaminski. It is a freedom I never thought I'd have again. I have a good life, good friends I've been blessed.
