Mimi's Story
Life
I am happily married with three kids, three dogs and a happy (but tired) husband. We have donated lots of money in the form of tuition payments to Michigan State University for the benefit of my two oldest kids, Ben and Samantha. Jenny will be a senior in high school next year, so more tuition payments are on the horizon.
I am reminded of the phrase my sweet dad used when preparing to visit me and my four siblings up in Ann Arbor, at Michigan: he'd say to my mom, "Let's go up to Ann Arbor and visit my money!".
We have opened a new family business in Royal Oak, on Woodward Ave...Expand for more
nue, called "Street Legal Customs". My son Ben runs the store, which is a very cool after-market auto accessories "tuner" shop with in-house installation.
Come on in and visit, and we will "pimp your ride", big-time. My husband and I are hoping that if the business takes off huge, we can both switch gears from practicing law, and sell body kits and nitrous tanks instead.
I still believe that Oak Park was the ideal community in which to grow up and be educated. It was our very own 'Pleasantville' and I regret that my kids did not have the same sort of carefree childhood we enjoyed.
