Mindy's Story
Life
I'm working as a Nurse Midwife/Nurse Practitioner, caring for women and families and attending births at a Seattle-area hospital. I love my job and my life. Married my high school sweetheart, Justin (LW grad)in July 1998. He continues to amaze me with his love and humor after fourteen years together. We live in Ballard with our brilliant daughter, Maya, in an old house with a neverending to-do list. We travel as much as we can and hope to live abroad in the next few years. (2004)

n. Enjoying hanging out with the girls and exploring the countryside around our home, but plan to return to work as a midwife here in the autumn.
2011: Back in Seattle with my family after 2 years in Ireland, wonderful job caring for a diverse group of women in one of the longest-practicing groups of midwives in Seattle. Still in our tiny Ballard house, spending time playing with my girls, trying to explore as much of our beautiful part of the country as we can. Celebrating 21 years since meeting Justin in summer of 1990 (cruising Lake Washington Boulevard with Sara Vorrath and Jenelle Quain).
