Miranda's Story
Life
I became formally engaged on December 26th, 2003 to Dalton Marshall and we were wed on July 22, 2005. My life centers mainly around my career right now (and Dalton), so no major hobbies. I have no children and have no plans on having any for another 5-7 years.
School
I wish I would have come out of my shell a little more during high school. I was capable of doing a lot more than I did, but was afraid to try. Regrets are hard...
College
Quite frankly, these were the best four years of my life. I had the most fun out on my own (sort ...Expand for more
of) with my friends. I didn't go on any scary drinking binges or drug runs, but I did have a few interesting roommates who did! And, the first year...6 East...that was probably one of my favorite times. I'm glad I went to college and I'm really proud at what I became afterward.
Workplace
Sacred Heart Grade School officially closed its doors in May of 2006. So, that left all of us teachers without a job. I did find a job in USD 305 working as an At-Risk Reading Specialist for this year and hope to get a "real" classroom of my own again soon.
