Miranda's Story
I moved a lot, except in high school. I was anxious, scared, and had no self confidence. I joined JROTC the year it started and that's how I made it through school. I was shy and hated school, initially, but began to learn something about my self worth as a cadet. I poured my entire self into that program and I honestly remember very, very little about anything outside of JROTC and German class/German Club. After high s...Expand for more
chool, I served 6 years in the Air Force National Guard. I never stayed in touch with anyone from high school, really, and continued to move from place to place. I've always found it hard to stay in touch, even with the people who have meant the most. But after moving around a lot, I've finally settled down and I'm back in Kansas. I'm beginning to reminisce about what little I do remember and I'm feeling a bit nostalgic.
