Misty's Story
Life
The past 20+ years have gone so fast it seems. I have a 25 year old, 23 year old and twin 18 year old boys. I have a stepdaughter that is 32 years old. A husband of 23 years and can't believe I still love him to death. He is a loveable sort of a man. My father passed away this past year July 25, 2008. I own a dog. From California's fast moving life to the slow and security of Idaho's life. We fish, camp, hike, bike, boat, ride cycles still :). We have dirt bikes, and have a gold wing. For our 17th year together we went all out and bought a new truck and travel trailer so in 2006 we are planning a 3 week vacation traveling back into Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, and surrounding areas. Cedar Point and Magic Mountain here I come......
2009, Update, we are selling out of Idaho and moving back east. Better health care, schooling, and other areas of interest. Plus I miss the 4 seasons, summer and winter just doesn't make it a year. I need the spring and the fall.
Moved to Ohio, Dayton area, July 2009, since then............. my second son graduated with honors 2011, and this year 2013 ...Expand for more
my twin boys will graduate. One (Mikie) is studing Criminal Justice, and Mark is studing construction. They both will be attending Sinclair community college next Aug. Last year I was hit by a mustang while driving a school bus. So, with that I've been out of work and finally after a year they allowed the surgery that I needed. So, now on the mend. I haven't been able to do much but with assistance from my daughter-in-law and sons, I've been able to do some quilting. I hope someday I will be able to get a small shop and just quilt until my hearts content. About a year and half ago, my eldest son (Anthony) and his wife Sarah moved from Idaho to Ohio to seek education and jobs, bringing my beautiful granddaughters with them, so we are a small family of 9. My granddaughters Amelia (my mom's name sake) is 4 going on 5, but really thinks she's all that and 16....a real princess and knows it... Emma (EE for short) is 3 will be 4 June 1, but I swear she is older than me, miss bossy girlie girl......I wouldn't trade them in for the world. I can't wait for more adventures with my young family.
