Misty's Story
Life
Well now that 10 years have gone by, I guess I can tell you what all has happened since high school. My high school sweet heart, Jeff Taylor from Caprock, and I got married June 7, 1997. I graduated in 2000 from WTAMU with a degree in elementary education. We moved to the Dallas area (The Colony)in May of 2000. I teach 8th grade Math, Algebra, and ESL Math (imagine that, me teaching Math)for Lewisville ISD. Jeff and I went through 5 years of infertility treatments and were unsuccessful at getting pregnant, but July 1, 2004, we witnessed the birth of our adopted daughter, Marley Alandria Marie Taylor. a mom. I am now completing my 5th year of teaching and I truly love it. I know I may be crazy for liking middle school but it is awesome.
For those of you who had my mom in class, she retired in 1997 and remarried a month or so after I got married. She now lives in Sun City, Georgetown, TX and is loving the retired life. We get to see each other pretty often and especially now that we have Marley. I hope all is well with everyone and I can't wait to see how everyone has changed over the past 10 years. I know I have!
