I am updating this a year after our last class reunion (50th). Here is my "summary" 51 year recap. I graduated from SUNY Oneonta and then Albany Law School. My legal career started in the Bronx District Attorney's Office (a combination of Hill Street Blues and Law & Order - SVU). A couple of jobs later I landed at Federated Department Stores, which morphed into Macy's, and was there for 24 years before getting caught up in a lay-off of mid to senior management. It was a nice run, while it lasted. I was involved in the Macy's Parade every year that I worked at the Company and worked behind the scenes again, in 2019, for my 24th and final year. The first ten years I marched as a clown. After that, I was "promoted" into "clown management" and helped herd 950 wild and crazy clowns down the Parade route. For my dedicated service in the Parade, I was presented with the 2017 Macy's Parade Distinguished Service Award. Two months after my layoff, I "landed softly" as a partner in a midtown Manhattan law firm. The firm is Ellenoff Grossman & Schole, which has approximately 125 attorneys. I joined the fifteen attorney Labor & Employment Group practice, where I managed the younger attorneys and provided client counseling on a wide range of employment related issues.
