Life
I met my wife in a College Sunday School Class
Both our son and daughter have been through the Air Force after finishing High School.
Our (firstborn) son, Brian came home two years ago. He's currently using his GI Bill to finish college pursuing his Photo/Journalism degree. Hes the official amateur photographer for his favorite radio stations Bone Weekend events here in the DFW Metroplex. The Bone is a local Classic Rock station. They use his pictures on their website every week.
Our daughter, Lisa graduated from Arlington Lamar High School in 1997, worked about a year, then also joined the Air Force Security Forces (i.e. Military Police). After basic & Security Forces training in San Antonio, she was stationed in Albuquerque for ...Expand for more
two years. During that time, she spent the summer of 2000 on a TDY (temp duty assignment) at Ali-Salem Air Base in Kuwait. In early 2001, she was reassigned to Aviano Air Base in northern Italy, where she met and married a fellow airman. She gave birth to our first grandchild, Merissa in July 2002. So earlier this year, we flew to Venice and stayed in Aviano for a couple of weeks so we could meet new son-in-law Philip and grandbaby, Merissa. A few months later, we flew Lisa and Merissa here to visit us for a month. Then we followed her up to Spokane to meet her new in-laws..
Meanwhile, our two cats Alex & Turbo keep us company here in our empty nest.
My job at Oncor supports the pipeline control system for TXU Lone Star Pipeline and TXU Fuels.
