Mitzi's Story
School
My favorite teacher Mr. Durbin, I guess because he just seamed to care and he tried to make history interesting. I wound up graduating almost 2 years eerily I'm glad the thing i wanted most out of school was me. School isn't something I would do over again for anything. Once was enough. I hated school except for some good friends I wish I had kept up with.
Work
Between art, being a stay at home a mom and pastor, theses days stay filled with this and that. I've done sales, real estate, and computers, now I'm finally painting again. I should have just stuck to art, but hey we live and learn, and I am who I am because of t he journey.
Life
I'm almost 40 now in an even smaller town, they have gotten progressively smaller now I really don't have much smaller I can move to and it still be a real town. I have a quiet life my husband, teen age d...Expand for more
aughter, and two crazy dogs keep me busy. I finally gave in and started doing art again. It's been a long journey. I was finally diagnosed with Lupus, Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (a painful degenerative genetic condition), a degenerative nerve condition and a few other things, it explains so much. I still consider my self blessed. I am now the pastor of a small church and it is amazing. It's a simple, and quiet life but a good one, way quieter than my dreams when I was in school, but I think it's where I was meant to be so I'm good with that.
Friends
Friends I am only in touch with one friend from school and she and I were in grade school together. I wish I were in touch with more but we have moved a lot and over time it was hard to keep up. I have a few close friends and I treasure them. Friends and family are true blessings and should be held near..
