anced and partied like there would be no tomorrow. By the end of 1991 tradgedy had raised its ugly head numerous times. Ended up turning myself in for old warrants, going to jail and prison. It was there I got a vision of what my life had become. Made up my mind to do everything I could to turn it around. Got clean and sober, went back to school, started working and being a productive member of society.
In 1999 I started Terrapin Terrain Service Landscaping. Got a State Contractors license and have been doing it ever since. In Oct. 2007 I also started Terrapin Wind and Solar Co. Neither company is named after the Grateful Deads album of the same name. My nickname is Turtle John and was so long before I ever started to follow the Dead. Today I live in Az. with my wife of 5 years Jenny. We have a daughter named Colleen, Son in law named Jason and Grandson named Noah. We also have three dogs Bonnie, Red and Blue. Two cats Saphire and Simon. I'm opening a secondhand store named Turtle's Treasures on March 15th 2011 Sold my landscape company in Jan. Time to get out of the sun.".
