Molly's Story

Hello Old Friends: Although my family and I moved to Columbus, Ohio the summer before my senior year, I still consider myself a South Meck Alumnus. Two years at South provided me with numerous memories of fun times with great people. I would love to hear from any of you who remember me. My closest friends included Lizzie Blackson, Susan Schatz, Jane Rhodes, Patty Rhyne, Katherine Pinson, Gail Woodbury, Tina Austin just to name a few. After high school - I graduated from Bishop Watterson in Columbus - I worked for a couple of years as a secretary, married, had two kids, divorced, then started working for the City of Columbus. I married my "dream" man, Ted, in 1986 and we are enjoying life to the fullest! I retired in 2004 after 30 years with the City and we bought a second home at North Myrtle Beach - the Ocean Drive section - which brings back a ton of memories. We spend a couple of months there in the Fall and Spring and usually a couple weeks in the summer. We're in "the book" so look me up at the beach. Along, with Ted came 3 step-kids whom I love de...Expand for more
arly: Kelly, Ben and Brent. My own two, Steve & Trish, have provided me with 4 adorable granddaughters ages 9, 7, 4 and 2. Life is good! Last October I went to the South Meck High Reunion at NMB. I saw Jimmy Shaw there and Sissy Woodell and Paula Edgerly, but where were the rest of you?? Please show up this year! I'll also add here that I spent my Freshman year at Our Lady of Mercy High School. Though it was only one year, I made some good friends there. I've lost touch with all of them but would love to reconnect with any of them who might still remember. Would especially love to hear from Robin West, Anne Young, Marilyn Babula, Kathy Dennehy, Barbara Sito, Marianne Rice, Maureen Gavin....to name a few. A couple of you go clear back to St. Gabriels grade school. So, now I've added St. Gab's to my profile (twice apparently, don't know how I did that!) and would love to hear from anyone that still remembers me. I wish everyone the best and would love to hear how you are doing. It's been such a long time and in many ways, seems like only yesterday!

Ladies: read this carefully!
Have you ever thought: “I’m fat.” “I’m old.” “I’m not enough.” “I was young once.” To all my female friends from 30 years and up, most of us are going through the next phase of our lives. We’re

Happy Mother’s Day to my precious Mom in heaven!
Having fun scanning old pictures. Here are 4 little Donovans.
Today marks 14 years in heaven for my precious Mom. Honestly, one of the most supportive, gentle, sweetest, and hilariously funny people on earth. Her laugh was the best! Shown here with her first great-grandchild, Caroli
Guess who is 13! Happy Birthday to my sweet, smart, funny, vivacious, beautiful Meredith!

I was nominated to post a picture that makes me feel proud to be a mother (only one picture). I'm going to tag some women that I think are fabulous mothers. If I marked you as one of the awesome moms,
