Molly's Story
Life
2021: I'm still here in Lakewood (Nyanza Park). I retired from DSHS in July 2020. now I spend my days with my 2 dachshunds and evenings with my husband George, who is still working.
I stay busy with my fantastic friends and creative projects, Due to COVID-19 had to cut Casinos, Karaoke and Movies out of my entertainment diet but ironically a have a Foodie group that is great for learning new things to cook at home while we have been Quarantined.
My sister Patty passed away Thanksgiving of 2020. She suffered with 6 different types of cancer for 23 years. My brother Dave is still with me and his family. His son is tying the knot this summer . oh to be young again.
(2007)I have made some changes in my life since my last entry. in November of 2006 I married an old friend. George Mohler in Tacoma surrounded by family and friends: old and new.
We live in my old family home in Lakewood. George added 2 cats to the mix of furry kids. We are trying to combine two households into one small house while we fix up things...Expand for more
around the house. It takes patience since we both work full time. George in a Teamster in a freight forwarding company and I still work for DSHS. I am now working for the Human Resources Division. I have the best job in the agency. I am the DSHS Employee Recognition Program Coordinator. I am a big party planner. I would have taken on the 30th reunion for Clover Park's class of 76 had I not been planning my own wedding at the same time. Perhaps I'll step up for the 35th reunion.
(2003)For 2 decades I moved around quit a bit doing odd jobs and odd men. I have finally settled down back in Lakewood in the old family home. I have no children but the furry kind. A dog named Duncan and a cat I call Katchancski.
I am employed with the Department of Social and Health Services and I work in the administration offices in Lacey.
I still love to sing and write. I am blessed to have many wonderful friends. I have recently become single so I have more time to spend with them and I'm trying to be as good a friend to them as they are to me.
